The Project
Larry’s Steveston home needed a full exterior re-stain and repaint to renew its wood log siding and detailed trim. The work focused on restoring the exterior finish while preserving the character of the log siding and stone accents.
The wood siding received two coats of Sikkens Log & Siding Semi-Transparent Stain, an oil-based finish selected for the log siding. Fascia boards, window frames, door frames, and trim received two coats of Sherwin-Williams Duration in satin. Doors were not part of the painting scope.
Completed in about a week, the project gave the home a refreshed exterior finish while maintaining the rich wood character of the siding.
