When the damage is structural or too extensive for a painting crew, we tell you at the estimate and recommend a licensed carpenter.

Trim, Fascia & Soffit Repair
Fascia boards and trim take the brunt of the weather, and rot usually starts at the ends and joints. We cut out the soft sections, fit new pieces, then seal, prime and paint so the repair blends into the finished job.
Window & Door Casing Repair
Sills and casings collect water. We repair small areas of rot, fill cracks and checks, and re-caulk the joints so paint can bond properly and water stays out.
Siding Board Replacement
Where a few boards are split or soft, we replace those boards before painting. If the damage runs wider than that, we will tell you at the estimate and recommend bringing in a carpenter.
Deck Board & Railing Repair
A cracked deck board or a rotted rail cap is replaced before staining or painting, so the new finish goes onto sound wood. Joists, beams, posts and other structural deck work are outside our scope.
Filling, Patching & Priming
Not every soft spot needs new wood. Minor damage is filled, sanded smooth and primed so the surface is even and ready for paint.
What We Refer Out
We are painters first. Framing, sheathing, rotted posts and beams, and large areas of siding are work for a licensed carpenter or contractor. We point it out at the estimate so nothing gets painted over.
