The Project

This traditional twin home in Ardmore Lower Merion had its brick, cedar shake siding, wood window and door trim, and metal porch trim repainted. The crew pressure washed all surfaces first, filled cracks and holes with Bondo and wood filler, and replaced any rotted wood before starting the finish coats.

The brick was finished in Sherwin-Williams Loxon XP Masonry Coating in Rookwood Red SW 2802, which served as both primer and finish coat. The cedar shake siding was primed with a Sherwin-Williams oil-based primer and finished with Sherwin-Williams Duration Exterior Paint in Naval SW 6244. The metal porch trim was finished with Sherwin-Williams Pro Industrial DTM Coating.

Hard to reach areas with overhead wires and uneven ground called for a rented articulated boom lift, and the crew also levelled sections of ground to work safely. The project took 4 days to complete.
