Church Sanctuary Interior Repaint, Richmond, BC

This Richmond church brought us in to repaint its sanctuary and open upper balcony, working around Sunday services. The scope covered the walls, baseboards and the lower chair rail beside the glass entrance doors, the window casings and sills, the balcony railing, the balcony door and frame, three exterior doors and frames on both sides, and ceiling sections above the balcony and above the entrance doors. The sanctuary's wood ceiling, the hand-painted mural walls, the audio booth, the enclosed room overlooking the sanctuary and the upstairs rooms were not part of this job.

The walls were finished in Sherwin-Williams Duration Home, High Reflective White SW 7757, two coats. The baseboards, chair rail, window casings and sills, balcony railing, and balcony door and frame were done in Sherwin-Williams ProClassic (Satin), same colour, two coats. The three exterior doors and frames were painted in Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane, High Reflective White SW 7757, semi-gloss on the doors and satin on the frames, two coats, and the ceiling sections were finished in Sherwin-Williams ProMar 400 (Flat), white, two coats.

The church came to us through a member whose home we had recently painted. Because the sanctuary could not be left half-painted on a Sunday, the whole job had to start and finish within one work week, running Monday to Friday between services.
