The Project

We repainted the outside of this Ladner home, its carport and its shed. On the house that meant the siding, including the lattice on the back wall, the soffits and fascia, the window frames, the downpipes and the front door and frame. The other doors and the lattice in front of the shed were not painted.

Everything went back on in its existing colours. The house and shed siding and the downpipes are brown Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint in flat. The soffits, fascia, window frames, front door frame, carport posts and shed fascia are tan SuperPaint in satin, and the carport ceiling is tan in flat. The front door is tan Emerald Urethane in satin.

The house had not been painted in many years, so most of the job was preparation. A carpenter the homeowner hired on our referral replaced a large section of siding on the back. Our crew scraped, sanded and primed, and took the wire mesh off all four gable corners, refitting it afterwards. The work took about a week.
