The Project

This was an exterior repaint of one unit of a duplex in Richmond, not the whole building. We painted the stucco, the wood siding, the fascia boards, the carport ceiling and the five carport posts. The homeowner also chose to add the rear vinyl siding, which was not in the original plan. The front door was not painted.

We asked the neighbour whether they wanted their half painted at the same time, but they chose not to, so only this half was done. The stucco wall and fascia on the neighbour's side that face this home were included. Where the wood siding meets the wood soffits, those soffit and fascia sections were painted with the siding.

The stucco has two coats of Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint in flat, in Wool Skein SW 6148. The wood siding, fascia boards, soffit sections, carport ceiling and carport posts have two coats of SuperPaint in satin, in Carnelian SW 7580. The job was completed in 2 to 3 days.
