Project Description

The Project

This South Surrey home had its exterior trim repainted in a new colour, Tinsmith SW 7657, and the wood siding in the two front gables was stained. The rest of the siding was not painted, and the doors, the garage doors and the rear door frame were not part of this job.

The first-storey fascia boards and belly band, the front entrance soffit, the soffits and attached fascia of the three gable peaks, the second-storey soffits and fascia, the front wood window frames and the front post have two coats of Sherwin-Williams Emerald in satin, in Tinsmith SW 7657. The front door frame and the two garage door frames have two coats of Emerald in satin.

The siding in the two front gables has two coats of a solid stain the homeowners supplied. Before painting, the crew took down the old Christmas light fasteners on the right side of the front balcony and the house and patched the holes.
