The Project

This Steveston home had its exterior trim repainted in the same colour it already had. The siding was not painted. We painted the fascia boards and trim, eight wood window frames, five door frames, the outside of five doors, seven pillars, and the fascia and door frame on the rear shed. The front door, garage doors, shed door and metal flashing were not painted.

All the painted trim got two coats of Sherwin-Williams Emerald in satin, in Snowbound SW 7004. The rear first- and second-floor wood soffits were done differently. Kelian chose one clear coat of Minwax Helmsman Spar Urethane instead of a stain. The soffits were cleaned with Sherwin-Williams Revive and sanded before the coat went on.
