White Trim & Belly Band Exterior Repaint, Steveston, Richmond, BC

This Steveston job for Arden was an exterior trim repaint. The siding was not painted. The trim went back on in the same colour it had before, Moderne White SW 6168. That covered the fascia boards, the belly bands, the corner boards, 17 window frames, three door frames, the garage door frame and two posts. The siding and wood shingles, the blue doors, the garage door, and the gutters and downspouts were not painted.

Every trim surface got two coats of Sherwin-Williams Duration in satin. The detailed belly bands on the front of the house have grey details, and those stayed grey. The crew painted the white around them.

One fascia peak sits directly above the hot tub, which made it very hard to reach. The crew used a hook ladder so they could paint it safely.
