The Project

This Tsawwassen job was mostly interior ceilings, plus a small piece of exterior staining. We repainted the living room, bathroom and guest bedroom ceilings and the walls of the family room skylight well. Outside, we stained one side of the side gate and the fence panel beside it, including the top surfaces of both.

The ceilings and the skylight well were painted in Sherwin-Williams ProMar 400 Ceilings in flat, in Oxford White CC-30, with two coats. The side gate and fence panel were stained in Sherwin-Williams SuperDeck solid stain in Kendall Charcoal HC-166, also with two coats.

The skylight well took the most work. Its walls were new drywall and mud with no paint on them at all, and the mud did not cover the surface evenly. The crew wiped the well down, sanded where needed and primed the whole well before the two finish coats. The living room, bathroom and guest bedroom ceilings were a straight two-coat repaint.
