The Project

This Seafair home had its full exterior repainted as a colour match, so the finished result looks very close to how it looked before. Work covered the stucco siding, fascia boards and trim, the front entrance wood soffit, door frames, doors, garage doors and the front masonry fence. Downspouts, vinyl windows and soffits, and stone veneer siding were not painted.

The stucco siding received two coats of SuperPaint Exterior Acrylic Latex in a matched colour. Fascia boards and trim were finished in Emerald Exterior Acrylic Latex (Satin), also colour matched. The front entrance wood soffit was given one coat of Minwax Water-Based Helmsman Indoor/Outdoor Spar Urethane as a clear finish. Doors, door frames and garage doors were painted with Forte Interior/Exterior Urethanized Acrylic Coating (Satin) in the matched trim colour, two coats, and the masonry fence's top caps were finished in the same Forte product.

The repaint took about a week to complete. Because the job was a colour match, the finished exterior looks similar to the original by design rather than by a change in scheme.
