Cream & Brown Tudor Exterior Repaint, Tsawwassen, Delta, BC

The homeowner told us the stucco on this Tudor-style house in Tsawwassen had not been painted in about 40 years. We repainted the stucco, about 1,000 feet of fascia and decorative trim boards, the window frames, the door frames, the front, side and rear doors, the garage door, the gutters and the downpipes. The colours stayed close to what was there, so this was a refresh rather than a colour change: the brown trim was matched to its existing colour, and the new cream on the stucco is close to the old shade.

Olof booked at the very end of the exterior season, and a good stretch of weather let us finish the house before the rain. Because it is a Tudor, most of the work was in the trim, with a lot of careful cutting in between the brown trim and the stucco all the way around the house.

The stucco is Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint in flat, Creamy SW 7012. The fascia, decorative trim, nine window frames and the garage door frame are Sherwin-Williams Latitude in satin in that matched brown. The other 32 window frames, the door frames, the two side doors and both sides of the rear door are Latitude in white.

The front door, garage door, gutters, the small fascia board under the gutters and the downpipes are Sherwin-Williams Forte in satin, in the same brown. The downpipes were taken off the wall, painted and put back up. Every surface got two coats, and the job was completed in five to seven days.
