White Wood Siding Exterior Repaint, Tsawwassen, Delta, BC

This Tsawwassen home had its siding, fascia boards, window frames, doors, posts, beams and the rear patio deck repainted and re-stained. The front and rear doors, front door frame, garage doors and soffits were left out of the scope, and the garage doors were completed separately in the same white.

Siding was finished in Simply White OC-117 satin with Dulux Diamond, applied in three coats. Fascia boards, window frames and the doors were done in the same Simply White OC-117 satin, with two coats on fascia and window frames and three on the doors. The garage doors were painted in Simply White OC-117 satin using Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint, two coats. Posts, beams and the deck at the rear patio were finished with Sico ProLuxe SRD RE oil-based flat stain in a natural tone, one coat.

The siding needed a third coat to get full, even coverage once the white colour was selected, so that extra coat was added partway through the job to make sure the finish held true.
